In the artist's words
The retail zombie is not sure why it is doing this.

Robot human hybrid description
A pale blue-green zombie in a white dress shirt, dark tie, and slacks carries a small shopping basket with wide, blank eyes and one arm outstretched — just a couple of things to pick up. Blood spatters the floor behind him. The palette is cold and desaturated — grey-greens, muddy browns, dark red — with the figure lit against a dim store interior suggested in the background.
The figure is painted in a loose, expressive style that sits somewhere between children's book illustration and horror. The blankness on his face is doing all the work.
This one is for people who've worked retail. Or anyone who has stood somewhere, doing something, and genuinely had no idea why. It reads as dark humor from a distance and gets stranger the longer you look at it.
Would fit in a home office, a game room, or anywhere someone wants something on the wall that makes people stop and ask questions.
