The heart of the CINEMELT PLAYHOUSE series is toys and movies and the stew of imagination that follows us throughout life if we're lucky enough to hang onto it. If you can follow a story, you still have the spark of imagination, and stories are not just kid's stuff. They are the way we have communicated events, lessons, mythology, and ways to live since we sat around the fire with leaves covering our private parts.
With the release of this series this fall, I'm going to be offering some limited edition serigraph ( screen printed ) hand pulled prints. The idea of taking my digital paintings and turning them into hand-crafted art pieces has been the plan since the beginning, and with this process I'm feeling the stuff I can make is really exciting.
