The Geuse | 12X12 on Board
In the artist's words
This is beetlejuice, ya'll. remember beatlejuice? i don't know how to spell it, and i think it's confusing on purpose.
If you have questions about the piece, feel free to message — happy to talk about it.
Robot human hybrid description
Close-up portrait of the bio-exorcist himself — pale grey face, wild lime-green hair, heavy black eye makeup, and a large beetle clamped between his lips. The black-and-white striped collar just visible at the bottom grounds the likeness instantly.
The palette is tight: near-monochrome skin against a dark vignette background, with that shock of yellow-green hair doing all the color work. The rendering is painterly and loose but the expression lands hard — sulky, menacing, vaguely put-upon.
This works in a media room, a Halloween setup that stays up year-round, or anywhere someone wants a little Tim Burton energy on the wall. It reads clearly from across the room and holds up close.
For the fan who can never quite remember how to spell it — and suspects that's intentional.
