But Some of Us Don't Know Why | 20X20 Gallery Wrap
In the artist's words
This is how an alien invasion would go if there were cats around anywhere.
If you have questions about the piece, feel free to message — happy to talk about it.
Robot human hybrid description
Three cats have completely derailed an alien invasion — not through force, but through sheer indifference. A black-and-white cat has sprawled across the top of the lead saucer. A white cat is busy sniffing the cockpit dome. A small black cat watches from below, tail curled, mildly interested at best. Behind them, an armada of silver ships recedes into a pink and peach sky — an entire operation brought to a standstill.
The alien pilot, goggled and purple-helmeted, peers up through the glass at the situation it cannot resolve. The cockpit glows green. The cats do not care.
The palette is warm and soft — dusty rose sky, white and silver ships, that cool green glow at the center. The mood is deadpan: interstellar progress blocked by creatures who simply will not move.
This one works for anyone who finds cats funnier than they find them cute. It lands easily in a game room, office, or any space that welcomes weird humor alongside strong color — and it's a reliable gift for a cat person, a sci-fi fan, or the overlap between them.
